Google has a new TV streamer that looks interesting.
Say goodbye to Google’s Chromecast. In its place is the Google TV Streamer, a 4K TV box that will also double as a smart home hub. That means if you have any Google Home and Matter devices (think Nest thingies), they’ll all be tied in.
The box will offer access to all kinds of apps in one place, including YouTube TV, Netflix, Disney+, and even Apple. There will also be live TV with at least 800 free channels. Google AL will help us sort through all the choices across all our subscription offerings. Nice to have all that in one place.
Google TV Streamer will be available as of September 24 for $99.99. You can pre-order now.
