Grab the headphones. Here’s a 360 Reality Audio experience with David Bowie

Today (January 8) would have been David Bowie‘s 75th birthday. Monday marks the sixth anniversary of his death. To go with both, we have this new 360 Reality Audio live stream from the Reality tour back in the day. I quote:

“360 Reality Audio is a new immersive music experience that uses Sony’s object-based 360 Spatial Sound technologies. Individual sounds such as vocals, chorus, piano, guitar, bass and even sounds of the live audience can be placed in a 360 spherical sound field, giving artists and creators a new way to express their creativity.”

More of this kind of Bowie audio will start appearing on January 21st.

Tracklisting:

  • Be My Wife
  • The Loneliest Guy
  • The Man Who Sold the World
  • Fantastic Voyage.
