Green Day and The Killers to Perform at World Cup of Hockey in Toronto

The World Cup of Hockey is heading to Toronto later this month and the NHL pulling out all the stops to make a major, major event–especially when it comes to music. At least two international megabands have been booked to perform.

The Killers  

  • When: 4:30pm September 16 at the Scotiabank World Cup of Hockey Fan Village in the Distillery District
  • How: Tickets $25 CAD (!!!) and include a parade of players from each of the teams in the tournament. Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 8 at 10am ET. Further details available at NHL.com.

Green Day

  • When: Friday, September 23, at the same Fan Village.
  • How: Tickets $25 CAD (!!!) and includes a celebration honouring Canadian Olympic athletes. More information here.
