Green Day now has their own Slurpee

Green Day has again expanded its merch empire. Not only do they have their own coffee, but they are now behind a new Slurpee at 7-Eleven. It’s called Kerplunk Kandy Grape (green grapes, I assume, because that’s the colour) and will be available across the US any second now. (I’m not sure about Canada.)

I quote from the press release:

“The Kerplunk Kandy Grape Slurpee drink is a sweet and slightly twisted treat that tastes just like the cotton candy grapes Green Day keeps as a staple on their backstage riders. Born from the band’s personal snack pile and reborn in frozen form, this isn’t your average frozen treat – it’s a full-on flavor riot.”

Back to coffee for a second. Green Day’s Punk Bunny is also coming to 7-Eleven. Both the coffee and the Slurpee come with collectible cups.
