Green Day now has their own coffee. It’s called Punk Bunny.

All sorts of artists have branded spin-off products, be it beer (just about everyone), wine (think Maynard of Tool), whisky (Metallica, Tea Party, and more), hot sauce (Offspring, Slash), and so on.

Coffee is another growth area. Green Day has jumped into the fray with their own specialty roast called Punk Bunny.

Billy Joe Armstrong had this to say:

“I’m stoked to be an owner of a very cool specialty coffee roasting company here in the U.S. And grateful for our co-owners and the amazing people who help us blend badass coffee, just how we like it. It’s going to be a big year for Green Day. We’ll be playing shows across the globe and Punk Bunny coffee will be fueling the way, backstage and on our busses.”

Actor Adam Devine is an investor.

To be clear, this is more of a merger than anything else. Back in 2015, the band established Oakland Coffee. Pink Bunny came out of a merger with a coffee roaster from Ohio called Oakland Coffee.
