Green Day used the NHL to debut a new song Saturday: Listen/watch here.
Remember way back in the Before Times–the ancient days of 2019–when Green Day signed a partnership deal with the NHL? Yeah, well, the pandemic killed off most of that, but apparently, the deal is still in effect.
Green Day teased a new song entitled “Here Comes the Shock” as part of NBC’s broadcast of the first of the Lake Tahoe outdoor games. (It’s Colorado vs. the Golden Knights on Saturday and the Bruins and the Flyers Sunday.)
The single will be out in North America Sunday and the rest of the world on Monday.
