I’m currently working on a children’s book for Kids Can Press which traces the evolution of the gadgets we’ve used to listen to music over the decades. The people at EnjoyTheMusic.com have come up with a handy chart that compares the sonic performance of everything from wax cylinders to 8-Tracks to FM radio t0 SACD and all that came in between.
