Hang on: Is a blink-182 reconciliation in the works?

Blink-182 fans were heartbroken when tensions within the band saw guitarist Tom DeLonge leave in 2015. While he was off working with Angels and Airwaves and his alien-hunting projects, he was replaced by Matt Skiba. The schism appeared to be permanent.

But if we’ve learned one thing about music, it’s that you can never say never. Take a look at these tweets from both Tom and Mark Hoppus.

What could this mean? A fan theory is that a reconciliation is in the works. We’ve heard such things before, but given that Tom and drummer Travis Barker have indicated they’re working together on a new Box Car Racer project (that band’s 20th anniversary is coming up), maybe the rift isn’t insurmountable.
