The dysfunctional relationships within Fleetwood Mac made for some of the greatest music of the 70s. Time hasn’t necessarily made things all that more mellow, either.
Earlier this century, there was a big blow-out between Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham which saw him being tossed out of the group, exiling him from any live dates. Now, though, there seems to be a thaw. Here are some social media posts from this week.
Nice, but let’s be honest: Without Christine McVie, Fleetwood Mac just isn’t Fleetwood Mac. She was the group’s songwriting powerhouse and not that she’s gone, any reformation would just be a reasonable facsimile.
