Have you heard about the Dead Internet Theory? This is worth a watch.

When the World Wide Web was introduced to the public in the early 90s–the Web1 era with its rudimentary and quaint websites–people were so optimistic about how this new technology was going to change the world. By the time we got to Web 2.0 in the 00’s–the social media era–it was apparent that the tech was being used for evil as well as good. Now in Web3 times, we’re not sure what the hell is happening.

This leads us to the Dead Internet Theory, a time when AI is ruining everything so no one can have nice things online. This video describes AI as “the nuclear bomb of the information age,” something that is making everything less fun, less creative, and more dangerous. Take a look.
