Have you seen the celebrity-laden anti-Kanye video? It’s fake, but…
First, it’s fake. The whole thing was generated with AI using deepfake images of Jewish celebrities like David Schwimmer, Steven Spielberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, and Sacha and Sacha Baron Cohen along with Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Black, Mila Kunis, Ben Stiller, Drake, and former NYC mayor Michael Boomberg. I mean, it had to be fake. How could something like this be organized within 48 hours of Kanye’s Super Bowl swastika t-shirt stunt?
We don’t know who made the video, although some point at an expert from Israel. And it’s pretty safe to say that the creator didn’t get the proper permissions from the celebs. Scarlett Johannson is concerned. This is what she told People.
“It has been brought to my attention by family members and friends, that an A.I.-generated video featuring my likeness, in response to an antisemitic view, has been circulating online and gaining traction. I am a Jewish woman who has no tolerance for antisemitism or hate speech of any kind. But I also firmly believe that the potential for hate speech multiplied by A.I. is a far greater threat than any one person who takes accountability for it. We must call out the misuse of A.I., no matter its messaging, or we risk losing a hold on reality.”
I get it. But I also agree with the message. Starve Kanye of attention.

The best outcome here would be to get all of the celebrities feature to do this video, but in reality, not AI. Could you imagine? That would be so excellent.
