  • I was only nine years old when Kurt died but I remember feeling the immense loss that was felt the day his death was announced. I remember my mom cutting the article out of the paper for me to keep and I remember taping that article to my mirror. Since seeing this blog post today and listening to these isolated lyrics I've spent most of the day listening to nirvana songs and Kurt Cobain interviews on YouTube and yet I still cannot grasp how we lost this person.
    It still eats away at me how someone so incredibly musically talented could feel so tourtured. It makes me wonder if Kurt was still alive how would modern music be different? Alan, i'd love to hear your theory on this.
