Alan Cross

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 30+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.

    Memories of "Get In The Van", my favorite book of all time, it has been on my bedside table since 1998. Whenever I need motivation, I read through it again. I even have the audiobook.

    I have a five foot tall print of that photo. Seriously.

    The photo is by Susie Horgan, and the Haagen Dazs is in Georgetown (as was the Govinda Gallery show where I bought the photo).
