Here are the winners from the 2025 Brit Awards

The Oscars weren’t the only awards program over the weekend. The 45th annual Brit Awards–the British equivalent of the JUNOS and the Grammys–were handed out in London. Here are your winners.

  • Artist of the year: Charlie XCX
  • Group of the Year: Ezra Collective. (There were gasps when The Cure did not win. Bring Me the Horizon, Coldplay, and The Last Dinner Party were also nominated)
  • Album of the year: Brat from Charlie XCX (Again, gasps that Thee Cure’s Songs of a Lost World didn’t win.)
  • Song of the Year: Guess by Charllie XCX feat. Billie Eilish (at least The Beatles didn’t win for “Now and Then.” Love The Beatles, but this was just an okay song.)
  • Best New Artist: The Last Dinner Party (Good choice)
  • International Artist of the Year: Chappell Roan (Not Taylor Swift? Interesting.)
  • International Group of the Year: Fontaines DC (I’m happy with that. Could have also gone to Amyl and The Sniffers.)
  • Internation Songs of the Year: Good Luck, Babe!, Chappell Roan
  • Best alternative/rock act: Sam Fender (Wow. Not The Cure?)
