Here are the winners from the 52nd annual JUNO Awards (plus the topless protestor)

The joys of live TV. While Avril Lavigne was onstage during the JUNO broadcast, a topless woman stormed the stage. Okay, so she was wearing pasties, but she made sure we saw that she had “LAND BACK” written on her upper arm. Given that she also had “SAVE THE GREEN BELT” written on her back, we might assume that she was protesting the Ontario government’s plan to build a new highway through protected areas.

Security escorted her away before she could make her point. Avril wasn’t pleased at the stage-crashing either. (Shades of the streaker at the Oscars in 1974.)

a topless protester just interrupted the Junos and Avril Lavigne to “Save the Green Belt”.
