Here come the Oasis fan stores

After almost a year of waiting, the Oasis reunion is almost upon us with the first show coming up in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4. This thing is going to make a LOT of money, not just from ticket sales but merch. Especially merch. I’ve seen reports which estimate that in the UK alone, sales will exceed $1 billion.

To help that along, some pop-up fan stores will start opening on Friday with the first location in Manchester. Expect to find tour merch, exclusive brand collaborations (that’ll be interesting), and a lot of one-of-a-kind stuff that won’t be sold anywhere else.

Stores will soon open in London, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Birmingham. There is no word on whether any other countries will get stores.

Has Oasis ever been this big? Maybe not. They’re certainly marketing the band better than they did back in the Britpop days.
