Here’s a Chance to Help Musicians in Need

A couple of years ago, a new non-profit charity was launched with the aim of helping Canadian musicians who have fallen on hard times because of health and financial issues. The Unison Benevolent Fund has since helped many people through their difficulties.

There’s a big benefit coming up during Canadian Music Week that everyone is encouraged to attend. Set for The Phoenix on May 6, the Unison Jam will feature Finger Eleven, I Mother Earth, Kim Mitchell, Kardinal Offishall, K-OS, Jason McCoy, The Trews and Tom Wilson.  It’s a pay-what-you-can thing, too.
