Here’s a cool app designed for music walking tours of Toronto

If you’ve been to New York or London, you might have been on a walking tour of musical landmarks. There have been a few such things in Toronto, but I don’t think anything quite like this before.

The ON-FOOT app has two immersive tours of Toronto’s musical sites using augmented reality. The first is a trip around Spadina. The second is a Toronto “Gayborhood” music tour. Both are loaded with interactive media, photos, and various audio-visual features.

Here’s how it works.

ON-FOOT is available through the App Store or Google Play. It’s free to instal and try. Full tours start at $1.99.
