Here’s a Show I’d Love to See: U2 with Eagles of Death Metal in Paris

Eagles of Death Metal will return to Paris tomorrow to finish the show they started at the Bataclan a couple of weeks ago. Except this time, they’ve got reinforcements. They’ll be the special guests of U2.

U2 was scheduled to play two arena shows the Saturday and Sunday after the Bataclan massacre, but those gigs were postponed out of an abundance of caution. Those performances will be staged Sunday and Monday at the AccorHotels Arena with the second night being recorded for that aborted HBO special that was supposed to be taped back on November 14.

There is, however, still a little bit of mystery surrounding this twofer. Will EDOM show be onstage Sunday or Monday? Or both? And it’s interesting that the band and management have no comment on the story.
