Here’s an early look inside the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. It’s kinda…wow.

The MSG Sphere, thte US$2.4 billion new venue on The Strip in Vegas, is set to open with a U2 residency at the end of the month. This is a look at the 18K high-def (duh) screen that can handle video at 60 frames per second.

Between U2 gigs, it will screen Post Card from Earth, a big nature documentary that will run from a file that’s half a petabyte (that’s 500,000 gigabytes) in size. Mate that to 167,000 amplified loudspeaker drivers and…wow.

Take a look. (Via Michael)
