Here’s an update on the fan voting for the 2024 nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

There are still weeks to go in the fan voting when it comes to the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees. This is where things stand when I looked about 24 hours ago.

Mariah Carey is doing much, much better than she should be. Or maybe (like the Hall contends) she exhibits the spirit of rock’n’roll. If that’s the case, I want out.

Here’s what you need to know if you want to vote:

  1. Voting can be done here.
  2. You can vote once a day.
  3. Whoever wins the fan voting component will earn exactly one (1) vote that will be put up against the 900 or so votes from official voting members.

  • Hundreds of thousands of people want Ozzy, and that counts towards ONE vote versus 899 other votes. That seems like a bit of a waste of time voting at this point as a fan at this point. Maybe they should weight it a bit more, as obviously there are a lot of people who want to see Ozzy be inducted.
