Here’s Another Reason I Feel Bad for the People of Toronto

If it’s not the gridlock, the constant construction and the massive suckage of the Toronto Blue Jays, Raptors and TFC (I omit the Leafs in that list because without a cup since 1967, we can take that as read), it’s the inability of the city to govern itself.

And Toronto’s problems didn’t start with mayor Rob Ford and all the smoking crack allegations.  The city has had dysfunctional mayors and city councils going back decades.  (Anyone remember when June Rowlands banned the Barenaked Ladies from a city celebration because she felt their name objectified women?)

The latest bit of music dysfunction comes from Sarah Thompson, the ex-mayoral candidate and the woman who tried to set up Rob Ford on “he-groped-me-while-drunk” allegations.  Now Thomson, the editor of Woman’s Post magazine, has put out a music video.  Notice the cheeky use of crack smoke at the beginning.
