Here’s North Korea’s Answer to The Spice Girls (And There’s a Ghost in the Line-up!)

Say hello to the Moranbong Band, a group that has the official approval of Kim Jong-Un. Let’s get down to a song called “Let’s Learn.”

But there’s more to this story than just a bunch of mini-skirted North Korean girls singing a pop song.  What’s remarkable is that the line-up featured Hyon Song-wol, rumoured to be an ex-girlfriend of Kim Jong-Un.  The story was that she had been executed by a machine gun-armed firing squad for making sex videos.

Apparently not, then.  The DPRK is a strange place.
