Here’s the first trailer for the Michael Jackson biopic

Biopics of musicians can be hit or miss. Queen‘s Bohemian Rhapsody was a hit while the recent Bruce Springsteen film, Deliver Me from Nowhere, is pretty much a miss. Elton John’s Rocketman was fun and Bob Dylan‘s A Complete Unknown was pretty good. I Wanna Dance with Somebody, which is about Whitney Houston, was largely panned.

What will happen with the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic? The man, of course, had a life that was…complicated.

Michael stars Jaafar Jackson, Jacko’s real-life nephew with hi mom played by Nia Long. It’s all set to open in theatres and IMAX on April 24. Here’s our first look.
