Here’s the Playlist for Monday’s Presidential Inauguration

The Americans like to crow about how they can do a peaceful transfer of power better than anyone else and make a big deal when a president is sworn into office.  Having won the election in November, Obama officially starts his second term Monday with a big orgy of ‘Murican-ness.

There are balls, concerts and special events.  Usher, Katy Perry, Smokey Robinson, Brad Paisley, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, fun. (?), Marc Anthony (??) and the cast of Glee (???) will all perform.

Here’s a Spotify playlist from the administration that’s been circulating.  Naturally, since we can’t (legally) get Spotify in Canada, you can’t just click on the image and be taken to where you can hear this music instantly like they can in most of the civilized world.
