It’s almost the end of the year, so we’re pretty close to the final numbers for 2025. Here are this week’s stats via Luminate. You can see the Christmas shopping effect.

CDs sold in Canada last week: 65,743 (Up 17.0% from last week)
Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 100,927 (Up 14.7% from a week ago)
CDs sold in Canada this year: 1,618,807 (Down 2.2% from this point last year)
Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 1,899,018(Up 20.7% from a year ago).

Streaming numbers:

Songs streamed in Canada last week: 2.992.785,183 (Down 0.7% from a week ago)
Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 144,600,516,-27 (Up 5.7% from this time in 2024)
