Time for another check on how CDs and vinyl are selling in Canada. Luminate also supplies streaming numbers, too.

  • CDs sold in Canada last week: 28,107 (Up 19.6% from last week.)
  • Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 31,732 (Up 18.2% from last week.)
  • CDs sold in Canada so this year: 644,234 (Up 1.2% from a year ago. Sales continue to trend up.)
  • Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 769,757 (Up 5.0% from this time last year.)

  Streaming numbers:

  • Songs streamed in Canada last week: 3,099,468,349 (Up 1.0% from a week ago. This is the eighth week in a row where weekly streams exceeded three billion.)
  • Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 65,104,207,122 (Up 3.4% from last year.)
