It’ll be called Sonic Highways and along with visits to various recording studios, Dave says he’ll explore why specific cities became famous for certain sounds and scenes.

Not only did Dave direct the series, but he booked all the guests and handled all the interviews. Oh, and he found time to record a new Foo Fighters album at the same time. Jeezus.
