Back on November 3, I was invited to speak in front of listeners of The Summit FM in Akron, Ohio, a station that has repeaters throughout northern Ohio. The station is the only American affiliate of The Ongoing History of New Music (although I’d like to fix that, obviously).

About 300 people turned out to participate in a discussion moderated by Summit program director Brad Savage. The evening went like this.

Alan Cross

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 40+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.

    Great listen. Got a kick out of Brad mentioning Canadians requesting replays on the Summit!
