Hey, 90s Kids: Frente! Is Back

If you’re into 90s music, you must remember the cute-as-a-button Frente! (don’t forget the exclamation mark) whose twee Aussie records had a short run on modern rock radio.  Surely you recall call this:

The band broke up in 1996 with singer Angie Hart in LA working with Joss Whedon on songs for Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  She also appeared as Lucy on an episode of Firefly entitled “Heart of Gold” (remember the woman who sang “Amazing Grace?” That was her.)

There have been some reunions over the last ten years but nothing has really stuck.  Now, though, they’re embarking on an Australian tour that may result in new material.  We’ll see.
