Hey! Someone’s Finally Written a Climate Change-Themed Protest Song!

I’ve asked this question many times before: With all the shit that’s going down in the world, where are all the new protest songs? Well, there’s at least one. It comes from Antony Hegarty (yes, from Antony and The Johnsons) and it comes just in time for the climate talks in Paris. Here’s what he says on Facebook:

Here it is… my first ANOHNI single.
Production by Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never

It’s called 4 DEGREES

In solidarity with the climate conference in Paris,
giving myself a good hard look,
not my aspirations but my behaviors,
revealing my insidious complicity.

It’s a whole new world.

Let’s be brave and tell the truth as much as we can.
