HOLY CRAP! Tool just released a NEW SINGLE! Listen NOW here!

As of today, it’s been 13 years, 3 months, and 5 days in Tool released their last album, 10,000 Days. It’ll be another 23 days until the new album–the most anticipated record of the year (The decade? The century?) will be released.

Here’s the official cover artwork.

Today, we have official new music from Fear Inoculum. It’s a multi-movement epic piece that runs almost 10 1/2 minutes that features some great guitar parts by Adam Jones, brilliant percussion work by Danny Carey, and those haunting, crunching basslines by Justin Chancellor. Maynard is his usual ominous self.

It is just f*ckin’ AWESOME. Listen here.

Glorious. Can’t wait for the rest of it.

Come August 30, the 85-minute album will be available as a deluxe limited-edition CD designed by Adam Jones that is completely off the hook. The CD case will feature a 4-inch rechargeable HD screen that will show exclusive video footage, a charging cable, a 2-watt speaker-and-amp, a 36-page booklet, and a digital download card.

You will need to pre-order this, of course. Go here.
