House Where John Lennon Wrote Songs for Sgt. Pepper on the Market

Back in July 1964, flush with cash from the Beatles first run of hit singles, John Lennon dropped £20,000 on a six-bedroom property in Weybridge, Surrey.  He and wife Cynthia stayed in the house until 1968, which means he must have written and co-written many great Beatles songs there.  That would include Revolver and Sgt. Pepper.

It’s now on the market again.  Here are some highlights:

  • 12,000 square feet
  • Six reception rooms
  • Six bathrooms
  • Heated indoor swimming pool
  • Sauna
  • Extensive manicured gardens over 1.5 acres

Interested?  It can be yours for about $24 million CAD.  See more pictures at The Daily Mail.
