How about The Ten Commandments with a twist of Flaming Lips?

Passover/Easter usually involves watching Charlton Heston play Moses in the 1956 version of The Ten Commandments if not for the story then for the overwrought acting. If, however, you’d like to go further back, here’s a clip from Cecil B. DeMille’s original silent production from 1923. The new soundtrack is supplied by stteven Drozd of the Flaming Lips, Steve Berlin of Los Lobos, and a few other friends.
