How great is the demand for Taylor Swift tickets? Measured this way, not as great as demand for tickets for this Canadian.

We’re going to be living with Taylor Swift Mania until at least the end of November 2024. Her fanbase mixed with those afflicted with some kind of FOMO have created an seemingly insatiable demand for tickets for the Eras tour.

A company called Ticketgum did a few calculations to determine how many stadium shows (specifically at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles would be required if Taylor wanted to satisfy ever single request for a ticket based on the number of streams she gets. Surprisingly, she finished second when the math was done. (The whole premise is a bit dodgy, but just go with me on this.)

Top 20 most streamed global artists would have to play SoFi Stadium this many times.
