How much would you spend to see your ultimate dream concert?

Going to shows is expensive but most of us have one or two gigs for which we’ll splurge. But what about the ultimate dream concert? How much could you see yourself spending? I’m not only talking about the cost of the ticket but also travel, accommodation, and food.

According to the Toronto Sun, Canadian concertgoers’ dreams concert finances break down like this.

  • The average Canadian will pony up $738. Given the cost of concert tickets, that won’t buy much these days.
  • Newfoundlanders will dig the deepest, saying that they’d spend an average of $1,215.
  • Quebec City is a hard-rockin’ town, but budgets are tighter. They’ll only commit to an average of $623.

Here’s the full list.

  • Newfoundland and Labrador: $1,215
  • Manitoba: $959
  • Nova Scotia: $854
  • Alberta: $843
  • British Columbia: $790
  • Ontario: $721
  • Saskatchewan: $683
  • New Brunswick: $640
  • Quebec: $623

Where’s PEI, Nunavut, NWT, and Yukon? No one asked them.
