How’s This for a Photo of a U2 Concert?

U2 played the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Friday night (June 23), which is at the base of the CN Tower. Between openers the Lumineers and the headliner, the dome’s roof was opened. This offered a rare opportunity to take an overhead shot of the proceedings from the CN Tower.

I have no idea who took these pictures (they appeared on the CN Tower Twitter feed), so please excuse the lack of attribution. They’re just too good not to share.

Note the thrust stage in the shape of a Joshua tree.
