I Like This: Amity Beach

I’ve never heard of any bands from Grand Bend, Ontario, but if they all sound like this, then there’s something really happening on the shores of Lake Huron. Here are a couple of samples from their debut record, Bonfire Etiquette.

Alan Cross

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 30+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.

    Great band, very fun live. I saw them live at the Measure in Toronto last Friday, August 2nd. You should consider playing one of their songs off their album when you get to host the Throne of Glory again on Indie 88.
