I Like This: CRHYMES

This was my Sunday morning listening. CRHYMES [sic] is the vehicle for Sebastian Shinwell, a Masters of Composition student at York University.

The group–which also includes members of Toronto bands Doldrums, Daresay, Donlands and Mortimer, and the Soul Motivators–is part of a collective that goes by the name “Rotten Folk Records.”

I really, really like this.  Thoughts?

  • Thumbs up from Central Cali Alan! Lots of things I like about these songs. The sound takes me back to something I would've enjoyed from england circa high school 1985-86. Is this an EP that's available somewhere?

    Thanks for sharing, cheers!
