Here’s another band I’ve been following for a couple of years. Elephant Stone is based out of Montreal and will have a new self-titled record coming on February 5 on Hidden Pony. After that, they’ll open some shows for the Black Angels.

Alan Cross

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 40+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.

I didn't realise they were Canadian. I started listening just because of the obvious Stone Roses reference.
