ICYMI, fan voting for the 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is over and…oh, dear.

It was not a good year for rock bands getting fan votes for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But don’t despair. The totality of the fan vote counts as one (1) single vote that’s thrown in with the 1000+ other people who cast ballots.

After 9,423,682 votes were cast, the winner was New Edition. Seriously? Yeah. They got 100.000 more votes than Phil Collins. And as you scroll down the list, note the number of decidedly UNrock artists that did well.
