Glad he’s keeping the PWEI spirit alive. Seems like it would make for an irreconcilable difference with Clint these days though.
I find this especially interesting given how much the The Fly from Achtung Baby owes to PWEI’s Wise Up Sucker (especially if you watch the videos). U2’s whole ZooTV era came out of the same aesthetic that PWEI was doing a few years before.
I was a huge U2 fan and a passing PWEI fan at the time. I still think Achtung Baby is a stunning album.
