If You Have Blue Jays Fever, Here’s a Song

Before the strike of ’94, I was a fanatical baseball fan. I could recite the Blue Jays’ batting order forward, in reverse, in alphabetical order and but hitting percentage. Pitching rotation? Piece of cake. The schedule was memorized months in advance.

After the strike? Meh. Couldn’t care less.  Same thing happened with the NHL, NBA and NFL. It took a long time for me to get over the betrayal. But with baseball, the apathy lingered and lingered.

Until now.

Because the Blue Jays seem like the real deal this season, I’ve gone back all-in. It’s been a long, long time.

And I’m hardly alone. The Jays’ pennant run has reignited a passion for MLB not just in Toronto or Ontario but across the country. If you’ve jumped back on the bandwagon with me (sorry, suffering long-time fans, but we had better things to do over the last 20 years), you might get a kick out of this new track from B & Steve.
