Before the world went digital with things like Pro Tools and Logic, reel-to-reel tape machines were the workhorses of all studios. (Apropos of nothing, I was a ninja when it came to editing tape, especially on a Studer A80 . So much for that skill. I might has well have been making buggy whips.)
