If you’re a fan of Canadian punk, you need this book

For a long, long time, there was a dearth of books documenting all Canadian music, let alone the realm of punk. That, happily, is a thing of the past. Now there’s a new book to consider.

Ron Ferroni, Bob Bryden and Steven Frank, have a recently-published biography entitled Young, Fast & Scientific: The DIY World of Al Cole. It tells the story of a poste artist and punk super-fan who was very involved in the scenes of London and Oshawa. More here.
