If you’re a fan of The Clash, there’s a Toronto event this Saturday you might like

The Clash played Toronto four times over their career and each time was carefully and thoroughly documented by people who were plugged into the punk scene.

Nick Smash was one of those people. He now has a new book called Clash in Toronto, the release of which will be celebrated this Saturday (December 21) at The Rivoli in Toronto from 1-4pm.

Clash fans are invited to come by for:

  • A selection of rare photos from the early 80s.
  • The first-ever playback of an interview Joe Strummer did with Ivar Hamilton in 1987.
  • A panel discussion on The Clash featuring, Nick, Ivar, and me.

Proceeds will go to Strummerville, the charity set up by Joe’s family.
