If you’re a musician, take a look at this ultra-portable studio rig

In the Olden Days, it could be difficult for a musician to capture inspiration while on the road. Melodies were sung and riffs were played into cassette machines or voice recorders. Those with the means might find a studio so that they could lay down some quick demos.

Things are easier now, of course, with laptops and programs like Garageband. But this new rig, called the MixPre-10M, takes recording on the road to a whole new level. It’s pretty much a digital audio workstation in a tiny box.
