I’m Completely Fascinated by Sinead O’Connor’s Change in Image

Image change? Rebranding? Metamorphosis? Makeover?  Call it what you want, but as a long-time fan, I hope this works in her favour when it comes to resurrecting her career.  She’s a major talent (admittedly a flaky one) that deserves more attention.

Here new album, I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss, will be out August 11 on Nettwerk.

From what I heard the image is in light of her mini feud with Miley Cyrus.

Agreed with above — she’s basically taking Miley to school (and totally succeeding, based on that video). I love the shot at the end when you can see how that tight dress is making it hard for her to walk. The wig on/wig off shots are great too. Go Sinead!

(Off to see if there’s anywhere to hear the song in full yet.)
