I’m Guessing You Wouldn’t Pay This Much for an iPhone Case

The iPhone X goes on sale this Friday at 12 midnight Pacific time or 3 AM Eastern. Supplies are very, very limited so unless you set an alarm and hit “refresh” until you get into the Apple Store (if you can get in at all), you’re probably not going to get one. Best guesses are that the backlog will continue well into 2018.

Meanwhile, an American design company called Gray is offering a case for the iPhone X called the Advent Aurora. Made of pure aerospace-grade titanium, each hand-polished unit comes with a laser-engraved serial number. One can be yours for just $1,295 US.

That’s even more than their 24k version, which sells for $1,145 USD.

If that’s too rich for your blood, they have cheaper models starting at $645 USD.

You just know that some one-percenter is going to get one of these things for their iPhone X, get drunk and leave it in a cab.
