I’m Surprised Donald Trump Hasn’t Scooped Up This Song

Whoever has been selecting the music for the Donald Trump campaign has been doing a terrible job. He’s appeared onstage to the strains of both the Stones “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and even REM’s “It’s the End of the World as We Know It.” Jeezus, man, you’re sending some weird messages with that music.

If I were advising Trump on music (which would never happen), here’s the first song I’d suggest. It’s from James McMurtry’s 2005 album, Childish Things. (Thanks to Jeff for the suggestion.)
